Sometimes big open spaces in a room can become too much for some children. This new Comfort Screen allows us to set up smaller spaces with versatile screening options. Screening can be achieved with all three panels – or reduced to two panels for a corner or slightly more open option. Different fabrics can be used to create varying degrees of separation. The fabric pictured is a sheer type with a solid pattern running through it for good visibility through the screen for the children and the educators alike. We have utilised some readily available elastic and fabric to create these screened (cubby) spaces.
This item was a customer request from Educators who are caring for children who suffer stress and anxiety. The open-ness of their room did not easily accommodate a “safe place” for these special children and the screening can offer a sense of security in the hustle and bustle of the Kinder day.
